Day 5!

SWEDEN! It's awesome! I've been here for 5 days, and they all have been amazing! I'm so excited for the next 6 months to come!

Traveling here went pretty smoothly... there were some close calls. But basically everyone in Denmark/Sweden speak some English, so communication was easy! I left the Denver airport at 9:35am, landed in New Jersey, then flew 10 hours into Copenhagen, Denmark. From there I took a train, and then another train, and then a bus to Vetlanda where I was picked up and brought to the school! It was a crazy long day, and a little overwhelming after meeting everyone.. but after getting some sleep and getting situated I was ready to go!

Over these last few weeks we've had student orientation and different get-to-know-you events. All the people up here are great and friendly and I can't wait to get to know everyone on a more deeper level!

Yesterday was the start of lectures. We have been going over 1 Timothy and really digging into the first 2 chapters. So interesting!! It's amazing how fast the time goes by while in the classes... especially when it's over something I'm actually interested in about! :)

  1. I was wondering what it was like. And how your class is going. Figured you would probably have major jet lag when you first got there. After that, it probably would be overwhelming meeting a whole bunch of new people. Sounds like you are having a great experience Were you nervous at all? because you handled everything like a pro, and now your there doing what you have wanted to do for the past 2 years. Hope the homework isn't hard, because that would be the pits. I finished my last class of Christian Theology class! That means one more Bible course left then I can start my teachimg classes! I am ready, because I want to be learning about the thing I will be doing the rest of my life. The Bible classes won't really help me learn how to teach. Anyway, I'm glad you are doing well and that you are liking Sweden. Continue to do so. Love ya and miss ya bunches!
